Role





•









To perform the day-to-day operational activities. •









To ensure the service levels and business operational needs are met 24 x 7, 365 days of the year •









To co-ordinate service desk activities out of hours. •









To provide remote hands support for the data center requirements (backup’s media rotation, physical HW installation, contractor’s accompaniment) •









To ensure the physical and logical security the office premises























Principal accountabilities IT delivery, quality and availability •









Hardware and software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and inventory management. •









Managing office servers and services (printers, scanners, file servers, shredders) •









Managing the office internal network and firewalls (Data and voice). •









Providing support for all the IT services to the office clients locally and remotely. •









Managing it stock (toner, drum kits, keyboards, mouse, monitors, memory kits) •









Telephony operations such as installing/replacing telephones and Blackberry and Video conferencing facilities. •









Liaising with 3rd parties where necessary

Assisting to the UK IT team with the data center physical support requirement. •









Escalation and liaison with incident teams when required. •









Following ITIL process for service desk duties out of hours. Customer Service and Relations •









To provide out of hours Service Desk functionality And any other work requested to be carried out from time to time. Qualifications, skills & experience Essential: •









At least 2 years experience as Windows and MAC SysAdmin •









Knowledge of PC O/S and builds winXP and Vista •









Knowledge of PC parts installations (boards, memory chips, PCI cards) •









Knowledge of backup and restore techniques and technology •









At least 2 years experience with active/passive network equipment •









A practical 1 years UNIX (Desirable!) and Windows experience •









A practical 1-2 years Juniper firewalls experience •









Working knowledge of ITIL processes •









Ability to work alone or as part of a team, and ability to manage own workload •









Highly focused on providing excellent service •









Strong communication skills •









Willing to travel abroad to the UK, IL and/or any other place as required. Desirable: •









Physical security awareness experience •









Degree in IT discipline •









An understanding of the bookmaking industry. •









Experience with multi culture corporate. •
